Fundraising in five easy steps:
Design your campaign: This is the time to decide how much you want to raise and how you will do it and by when. In the past supporters have run marathons, sold their artwork, collected recyclables and much more. Send us an email if you’d like to brainstorm ideas: robin@nepalyouthfoundation.org or info@nepalyouthfoundation.org.
Promote your campaign: Email your friends, use the built-in tools to connect to your Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts and tell everyone you know why this cause is important to you. Get the word out–remember, no one can donate to your campaign if they haven’t heard about it! Your supporters will receive a US tax receipt for 100% of their donation amount.
Say thank you–often and sincerely: Your donors are investing in you and your goals, so be sure to thank them and keep them updated with progress reports.
Keep the momentum going: Send reminder emails and ask those who’ve already donated to help spread the word. You’ll reach many more people this way.
Celebrate: Take credit for a job well done. It’s thanks to people like you that NYF has transformed the lives of tens of thousands of impoverished Nepali children.
